David is the co-founder and CEO of Nebulous, the company behind Sia and Obelisk. Sia is a decentralized storage network incentivized by Siacoin, one of the largest cryptocurrencies in the world when raneked by market cap. Their technology connects users who need file storage with hosts worldwide offering underutilized hard drive capacity. Blockchain technology secures their data and enables improved economics for users and hosts. David is also the founder of Obelisk. Obelisk is building high-quality ASIC mining hardware for Decred and Siacoin.
David is a recognized expert on blockchain and cryptocurrencies. In 2014 David was an MIT Sloan Fellow where he researched blockchain technology alongside MIT professors. After MIT, David was a blockchain expert at PwC and helped Fortune 100 clients across multiple sectors develop strategies, business models and solutions leveraging blockchain. He has advised the U.S. Intelligence Community on national security threats associated with cryptocurrencies including money laundering, terrorist financing and regulatory matters. David is Co-Founder of Atonomi, an IoT security blockchain company, and previously advised on risk management for the U.S. Treasury’s TARP program, World Bank, International Finance Corporation (IFC) and large financial institutions. David routinely speaks at blockchain conferences and events including BNY Mellon, Deutsche Bank, PwC, Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Association, MIT, and the Department of Justice (DOJ).
Chet is a software engineer and serial entrepreneur. He is currently the co-founder and CEO of Tengu. Chet has worked in the past at Microsoft Research and was previously the co-founder of a very successful Edu-tech company, Guru-G. Guru-G is an award winning Indian startup with over 10 million active users. Chet also serves as an officer and on the boards of Israeli Blockchain Association, the Government Blockchain Association, the MIT Bitcoin Club, and the US India Blockchain Council.
